StackDesign blog

What shipped, and when. Every time something new goes live in StackDesign, it gets a post here. Short, dated, and about one thing.

release

Every StackDesign page has a shorter address

The word systainer is out of the page addresses that did not need it. Pages load at short paths like /pricing and /guides, and old links still work.
release

Four guides for planning a Systainer wall

The StackDesign guides live at a proper address now and cover Systainer sizes, planning a wall, choosing drawer slides and picking sheet goods.

Found a bug? Report it and get a free month

There is a bug report button inside StackDesign now. If your report leads to a fix you earn a free month, credited for when paid plans start, up to six months.
release

StackDesign is free during the open beta

StackDesign is open to anyone and free while the open beta runs. The beta ends 31 October 2026, no card needed, and the planner and cut list are not held back.

Looking for how something works?

This page is the running list of what shipped and when. If you want the step by step version of a job, that lives in the guides, which we keep up to date rather than dating.

Free while the beta runs

Pick the boxes you own, get a wall of cabinets sized around them, and walk away with the cut list.

A StackDesign release note. Every post here is something that already shipped and is live on the site. Read the rest of the blog or browse the guides.
